Hey guys, Just got back from a great IMAF camp here in Sweden. Meet some really great people and instructors. I was able to teach some competition Judo. I was really impressed with how every one really like to do Tachi Waza. Judo is a great sport..!
The site is really great. ALL OF US!! fighters and martial artist worldwide should be taking advantage of this site. I feel the same about the IJF. The rules changed for reasons. More technique is demanded now instead of being able to power through certain moves and throws.
I agree about the technique part, but if you think about it….should judo evolve to just like other sports do over time…to have more deffence against wrestling, sambo, and other styles that is out there….?
Lets start off with the not so new any more, IJF rules 2010, for no grabs below the belt for trowing techniques…What is your view on this..or have you had any experience in a competition where you got a penalty/disqualification…
